What is the Registration Process for Motor Vehicle New Registrations and New Resident

1. Residents must pay fees to the Town of Tamworth (one’s place of residence or where the vehicle is garaged).

Always begin the process at the Town Clerk’s Office at 84 Main Street Tamworth New Hampshire.

 

2. Fees are paid to the Town of Tamworth. The Tamworth Town Clerk is an online Municipal Agent for the State DMV; therefore, registrations may be completed in their entirety at our office, for an additional $3.00; OR residents may complete the State portion at the State Office located on Hazen Drive (off Loudon Rd) in Concord or any substation. The closest substation is located on 1864 White Mountain Highway (Route 16) in Tamworth.
