FINAL NOTICE: Time to register the dogs
The Tamworth Town Clerk’s office would like to send out a final notice to those residents who have not licensed their dogs which is required by law each year between January 1 and April 30. All dogs owners who choose not to license their dogs as required by State law could face a civil forfeiture penalty of $30 in addition to the licensing fees for each dog that is not licensed. Anyone who has questions is encouraged to contact the Town Clerk at 603-323-7971 or by email at tctx@tamworthnh.org. MV Reg, Dogs, Vital Records & Prop Tax Payments
Residents & non-residents alike can pay for their motor vehicle registrations, register their dogs, request vital records and pay their property taxes online. Access this program from the Town's website of tamworthnh.org then by clicking on the icon on the right side of the screen. Once this icon is selected, the applicant will be brought to another site in which they would select the item that they would like to accomplish. Payments can be made by Master Card, Visa, JCB Bank, and Discover or by utilizing your checking account. Please note: the actual MV registration processing takes 3-5 business days and should not be utilized if too close to the end of the renewal month. The processing time for vital records is also 3-5 business days.
