The Town of Tamworth has a part time opening (up to 20 hours/week) for a Secretary/Assessing Clerk.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to assessing, data entry, administrative and clerical duties in support of the Town Administrator; assisting the public with assessment inquiries and general office tasks. 


Minimum requirements: HS diploma, 3 years of secretarial/office administration experience with experience in municipal government beneficial.  Knowledge of state laws and town regulations governing assessing and planning preferred. Job description is attached. Training will be provided to the selected job candidate.  Pay commensurate with experience.
